In this article I’m going to the hardware, or analog, compared with ACID Music Studio. Even today there is a tendency towards a preference for analogue equipment or computers. Some people say that the use of the computer is not making music. This is usually people who have spent years and years studying music and / or an instrument. They feel that since anyone can use a computer to create their own music, really without years of study, it is not real. However, using a computer to create music takes years of practice and experimentation. While a computer allows a person to overcome the lack of knowledge in music education, or the ability of an instrument that is not going to turn trash into a platinum record.
In this article I’m going to go over the usefulness of a team that really is. I will compare the old school, analog equipment for modern computers and software used by them. To start with the absolute essentials of analog recording devices, a cover of the track multiple tapes. A cover multi-track tape allows you to make several recordings and play them simultaneously. This lets you have two, three, or more recordings and combine them into one. This allows you to record vocals, drums, guitars, keyboards and all that other instruments are used as separate tracks. Then, using the recorder are combined into one. These covers multi-track tape drives are expensive and can take up a lot of space. They are also limited in the number of tracks that can be used at once. ACID Music Studio has a number of tracks is limited only by the capacity of your computer to handle. The same way you would use for loops can be used as a multitrack recorder.
Then I will spend the effects. There are a lot of effects available. In the old school analog recording you need a full rack of modules of different effects. These effects can cause a lot of different changes to the music or sounds you use to do so. I’ll go into all the various effects in a different article. Let me just say that there are dozens of effects of using both instruments and recording equipment. Of the guitar players use pedals, the reverb effect there are many available. And with the traditional hardware space each occupies much space. If you’ve ever seen pictures of the recording studio the band have probably seen what I’m talking about. Each shelf black boxes with knobs and switches, the main cables together. Read the rest of this entry »
